Overview
Our client, a leading global investment manager, is hiring a Vice President to join its Alternatives Private Credit finance team. This individual will oversee fund-level financing and liquidity management for a complex platform spanning closed-end and evergreen structures. The role requires hands-on oversight of credit facilities, liquidity planning, and reporting, as well as direct interaction with lenders, investors, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage liability and liquidity functions across specialty finance funds within the private credit platform
- Source, structure, and manage multiple credit facilities, including subscription lines, NAV loans, and ABLs
- Negotiate with external lenders and maintain long-term banking relationships
- Optimize fund leverage while maintaining appropriate liquidity reserves and minimizing cash drag
- Oversee all reporting tied to credit facilities, including collateral testing and concentration reporting
- Maintain knowledge of fund assets; able to speak to fund- and investment-level performance
- Perform data analysis and present insights to senior management on portfolio performance across multiple vehicles
- Prepare detailed liquidity and cash flow projections for management and investor reporting
- Support Investor Relations and Marketing in preparing responses to LP inquiries and RFPs
- Handle ad hoc requests from senior leadership and portfolio managers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Strong knowledge of fund finance and liquidity management within alternatives or private credit
- Buy-side or asset-based lending experience strongly preferred
- Experience with credit products, loan settlements, and trade reconciliations a plus
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable in external lender discussions
- Ability to work independently with limited daily oversight while managing multiple priorities
Salary : $150,000 - $190,000
