Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent credit reviews across a range of corporate borrowers to ensure alignment with internal lending policies and regulatory standards.
- Assess borrower financial performance through in-depth analysis of financial statements, cash flows, leverage metrics, and overall capital structure.
- Evaluate internal and regulatory risk ratings, identify discrepancies, and recommend changes with clear supporting rationale.
- Review the adequacy and effectiveness of credit monitoring practices, performance covenants, and early-warning triggers.
- Analyze base-case and stress-case projections to evaluate borrower resilience and identify potential risk migration.
- Provide well-supported findings and challenge points to senior credit review leadership and frontline credit teams.
- Perform portfolio-level risk assessments and continuous monitoring to identify emerging trends or areas requiring closer oversight.
- Maintain active communication with credit, business, audit, and compliance partners to support timely and accurate risk assessments.
- Identify process gaps or policy deficiencies and propose enhancements to strengthen credit risk management practices.
- Support special projects or ad hoc assignments that contribute to the broader credit review and risk governance framework.
