This position is grant-funded by the Indiana Department of Correction, with the possibility of renewal.
**JOB DESCRIPTION (Summary)**
Must have a working knowledge of the criminal code and criminal justice system, i.e., courts, case management, etc.
Effectively work and communicate orally and in writing while maintaining strict confidentiality with staff, program participants, and the public.
Ability to have direct interaction with program participants daily. This interaction involves ensuring compliance with program rules and regulations, monitoring adherence to individual treatment case plans and case management, as well as promoting prosocial behavior.
Ability to follow all program grant requirements, be creative in program ideas, and be a self-starter.
Monitor program user fees and assist with the overall collection process for the program.
Must be proactive in promoting workplace safety procedures and regularly address safety with staff, visitors, and program participants.
Ability to encourage/guide in modifying attitudes and patterns of behavior.
Must be able to establish and maintain a working relationship with referral sources such as the local judiciary system, prosecuting attorneys, probation/parole departments, courts, prison system, victim advocates, and various social service agencies.
Incorporate evidence-based practices in your everyday work.
Must demonstrate strong human relations skills such as negotiation and conflict resolution while utilizing motivational interviewing skills.
Work involves problem-solving skills to gain the cooperation of justice-involved individuals in situations that may jeopardize the safety of the public and/or staff.
Ability to teach cognitive behavioral programming
Education and/or experience and training equivalent to a bachelors degree in criminal justice, social work, or related field.

- Closely monitor program fees
- Must be involved with the overall quality assurance of the program and able to prepare quarterly reports, snapshots, etc.
- Must be able to troubleshoot various issues with the program and/or equipment
