Requirements / Qualifications
Under the direction of an assigned administrator, perform a variety of duties related to attendance accounting and recordkeeping for assigned student programs involving frequent and responsible public and internal contacts; prepare, maintain, and account for attendance records and reports for submittal to local and state agencies; responsible for the development, implementation, submission, and evaluation of the Madera County Superintendent of Schools (MCSOS) data in the Student Information System (SIS) as it relates to the California Longitudinal Pupil Achievement Data System (CALPADS); coordinate with Human Resources, Special Education, Alternative Education, school site administrators, and staff in the collection and input of the data requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or the equivalent supplemented by college level coursework in accounting, computer science, information systems, or related field and three years clerical experience including work with accounting, attendance, and student recordkeeping functions. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license. Incumbents must be insurable by the liability carrier for the Madera County Superintendent of Schools.
