The CNC Operator is responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CNC and laser machinery to support the fabrication of scenic and custom builds. This role works closely with the drafting and carpentry teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality across all projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating wood CNC routers in a production environment
- Proficient with all basic shop tools, including table saw, chop saw, and router
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed
- Experience in fabrication for live events, entertainment, or experiential environments is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Create tool paths and programs from drafting team drawings
- Program and operate (2) 3-axis 5x10 Laguna wood CNC routers
- Program and operate (1) 150-watt CO2 Laguna laser machine
- Maintain machines and ensure safe, efficient operation
- Assist with carpentry projects in the shop as needed
- Support truck loading and general shop cleaning when not operating machines

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
