About the Role
The Regional QHSEW Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting the delivery of Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental, and Wellbeing (QHSEW) initiatives across FM contracts in the Americas, including two global client accounts. This role combines operational oversight, consultancy, and audit responsibilities to ensure compliance with client requirements and regulatory standards. The role also involves leadership of one direct report supporting a global client account.
Since Macro delivers services to its clients via a management model, all services are delivers by third parties. Therefore, a considerable focus is on managing H&S and compliance through our supply chain.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership and oversight for QHSEW matters across FM contracts in the Americas.
- Support two key client accounts in Texas (O&G/Petrochemical locations) with higher-risk FM environments, ensuring appropriate HSE measures are implemented.
- Provide H&S consultancy for clients, including compliance audits at client locations, development and maintenance of HSE legal registers, development of H&S programs and procedures
- Perform internal QHSEW audits, both in-person and remotely, for accounts outside direct responsibility.
- Provide internal QHSEW input into company processes, procedures, improvement initiatives and RFPs for new business in the Americas.
- Mentor and manage one direct report to ensure effective delivery of client HSE support.
- Ensure compliance with local and regional HSE legislation and company standards.
- Conduct Supplier QHSE assessments as part of our supply chain onboarding process for suppliers in the Americas region.
Salary range is $100,000 to $120,000 annually.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- If degree is in a non-H&S subject, candidate must have a Diploma level H&S certificate such as BCSP – Board of Certified Safety Professional (CSP) (or equivalent such as NEBOSH Diploma or ASP/CHST/OHST).
- Proven experience in HSE management, preferably in facilities management or real estate, with O&G, or petrochemical experience an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of regional HSE legislation and standards (including US OSHA and Canadian OSH federal and provincial regulations)
- Experience conducting audits and preparing compliance documentation.
- Leadership experience with direct reports in HSE/QHSE roles.
- Excellent consultancy, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
