About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of an efficient, effective and highly customer focused flexible FM service. You will manage the properties and facilities support services with a professional and proactive approach.
You will oversee the day-to-day delivery of both hard and soft facilities services through dedicated suppliers. You will ensure the highest standards are maintained as detailed in the scope of works.
You will deliver exceptional customer service and strive to exceed expectations. You will manage relationship with key stakeholders and all personnel, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
You will line manage a team of facility managers and assistants, providing guidance, support and development opportunities.

Main Job Responsibilities
- Vendor management of technical and cleaning services
- Manage and monitor vendor performance in line with agreed SLAs/KPIs
- Maintain the quality and standards of FM delivery via an agreed audit process
- Carry out 4 audits a year to the key stores in the portfolio.
- Support the delivery of FM services with site/vendor visits when required
- Visit stores where critical issues are disrupting business continuity
- Troubleshoot and resolve service delivery issues when they arise
- Take ownership and action to support service co-ordinators’ escalations
- Lead and support new store openings from pre-construction hand over
- Take responsibility for store refits and store closures
- Attend final hand over meetings for new and refurbished stores
- Maintain helpdesk, asset registers, Shared Drive and O&Ms to reflect all stores and refurb activity
- Compile reports with supporting data for key decisions for Client review
- Keep asset registers updated and highlight asset risks and opportunities
- Identify Best Practises across stores and Vendors and present these back to the client and work on the implementation process
- Training and coaching of co-ordinators
- Ensure Regional Management processes and procedures are documented and kept up to date
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Essential:
- Experience of managing supply chains and small/medium projects in the Americas
- Experience in delivering planned and reactive maintenance in the Americas
- Excellent health and safety awareness
- Strong project management skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Able to prioritise work to deadlines
- Desire to take ownership of a problem and find the solution
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Customer focused approach
- Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel
- Experience using project management and accounting software is required
- A team player
- Good organisational skills
- Service provider experience preferred
- Suit self-driven individual with discipline to manage own workload
Desired Qualifications and Experiences
- Experience in the Retail Sector
- Previous asset collation experience
- Experience of FM help desk software such as Service Channel
- Advanced Excel or database experience is an advantage
- Ability to think "out of the box" and to bring creative solutions to the table
- Professional qualification or business-related degree.
Salary budget for this role is $100,000 per annum
