Your Role in Our Mission

As a Warehouse Team Member, you'll be the backbone of our operation, ensuring every customer receives the quality products they depend on for their homes, farms, and beloved pets. This isn't just about moving inventory—it's about being part of a process that directly impacts the success of local farmers, the health of family pets, and the beauty of neighborhood gardens.

What You'll Accomplish Daily:

• Execute systematic receiving, organization, and inventory management processes that keep our three Connecticut locations fully stocked
• Handle diverse agricultural supplies including premium pet foods, fertilizers, livestock feed, trees, and shrubs with precision and care
• Prepare customer orders for delivery with attention to detail that reflects our commitment to excellence
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts to efficiently move products (training provided)
• Maintain warehouse organization and safety standards that support our team's success
• Contribute improvement ideas that help us grow and serve customers better

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Physical capability to regularly lift 50 lbs and handle products ranging from 5-60 lbs
• Strong process orientation with attention to detail and systematic approach to work
• Collaborative mindset and proven ability to work effectively in team environments
• Commitment to accountability—taking ownership of your work and results
• Genuine interest in learning and mastering new skills and processes
• Flexibility to work in a dynamic retail environment with seasonal variations
• Availability for one weekend day per week (with one guaranteed weekend day off)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain—we provide comprehensive training)
• Experience in warehouse, agricultural, or retail environments
• Understanding of inventory management systems
• Background in physical, process-oriented work environments

Work Environment: Our warehouse is active and engaging—you'll spend your day moving, lifting, and organizing in a fast-paced environment that keeps you physically engaged. Our Willimantic location operates Monday-Friday 8:00am-7:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-6:00pm, and Sunday 8:30am-5:00pm. You'll work with seasonal variations in product mix and weather conditions, making every day different and interesting.
