Manufacturing Assembly Technician

As a Production Assembly Technician, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations by building high-quality components and assemblies. You will utilize a variety of industrial tools and materials to ensure our products meet rigorous performance standards while contributing to a culture of safety and efficiency.

• Operate handheld pneumatic and electric power tools, including drills, riveters, and impact wrenches, to assemble complex components.
• Work with diverse materials such as steel, aluminum, composites, and adhesives to construct durable finished products.
• Manage material flow to your workstation using overhead cranes, forklifts, and manual carts to maintain consistent production output.
• Perform routine quality inspections to ensure all assemblies adhere to precise technical specifications.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce waste and optimize resource utilization.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by strictly following all established safety protocols.

Required Skills

• Proven ability to safely operate pneumatic and electric power tools.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting tape measures and other precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow detailed verbal or written instructions.
• Capacity to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver large assemblies weighing up to 180 pounds with assistance.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a production environment.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or assembly line setting.
• Experience operating heavy machinery such as overhead cranes or forklifts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing production requirements.
