About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our industrial equipment and facilities. In this role, you will be pivotal in performing maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems will be essential to keeping our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical malfunctions, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and adjustments, in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to address maintenance needs and improve equipment performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Participate in safety programs and promote a culture of safety throughout the facility.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including AC/DC drives and motors, PLCs, and 480-volt 3-phase electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies and regulations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with predictive maintenance techniques, such as vibration analysis and infrared thermography.
- Certification in a relevant trade, such as electrical or mechanical technology.
- Experience with welding and fabrication.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
