Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain rebar fabrication equipment, including shears, benders, cranes, forklifts, threaders, and welders.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring accurate inventory and safe handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Actively participate in safety programs, upholding a strong safety culture.
- Cross-train on multiple machines to enhance versatility and support team needs.
- Perform quality checks to ensure fabricated rebar meets specifications.
- Read and interpret technical documents and service manuals to ensure proper equipment operation.
- Contribute to team goals by completing additional duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat and cold.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to safe working habits.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders and standing for extended periods.
