Position Details

We are currently looking for a skilled Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist to join our team. In this capacity, you will collaborate with cardiologists to facilitate complex cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology interventions. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional patient care and managing hemodynamic data to ensure that all cardiovascular procedures are conducted safely and effectively.
Core Duties
- Support cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology cases to help maintain a secure and productive clinical environment.
- Utilize automated systems to conduct technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpret data throughout the course of cardiovascular interventions.
- Organize procedure rooms, calibrate equipment, and prepare patients to ensure full adherence to clinical protocols and safety guidelines.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care across all stages of the procedure by tracking patient status and assisting the clinical team.
- Execute various cardiovascular imaging tasks and provide operational support to meet the evolving needs of the department and our patients.
Required Credentials
- Completion of a Radiology Program or an Associate's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Valid Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Radiologic Technology License.
- Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiology.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) credential.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) credential.
- Demonstrated understanding of hemodynamic monitoring, invasive cardiovascular techniques, imaging principles, and patient care standards.
Work Schedule
- 6:30 am to 5:00 pm.
