We are seeking a meticulous Assembly Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of our assembly production line. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining quality standards, managing inventory, and optimizing assembly processes. Responsibilities
- Verify and document the accuracy of incoming parts, promptly addressing any discrepancies or damage.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring parts are readily accessible for assembly, leveraging blueprints and work orders.
- Prepare and stage materials for assembly based on customer orders, optimizing workflow and minimizing delays.
- Track parts meticulously through the Traverse system, ensuring accurate inventory management and documentation.
- Conduct thorough product inspections, documenting findings to maintain quality standards.
- Contribute to the training of new team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints and operations sheets.
- Proficiency in basic mathematical skills, including units of measure, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Familiarity with the Traverse system or similar inventory management software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
