Summary:
We are exclusively retained to appoint a Senior Vice President of Development for a high-profile, ground-up private club and lifestyle community project in Westchester County, NY.
This is a rare opportunity to lead the delivery of a flagship luxury development from active permitting through design, construction, launch, and stabilization - with full executive ownership and visibility.
The project has already been acquired and is moving into a critical phase of execution. The appointed leader will serve as the single point of accountability across development, construction, design, stakeholder management, and activation.
The role:
• Lead the full execution of a large-scale, hospitality-oriented community development
• Oversee entitlement strategy, design evolution, construction delivery, and operational readiness
• Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning development, design, finance, marketing, operations, and experience
• Manage external partners including architects, consultants, engineers, municipalities, and contractors
• Drive project performance across budget, timeline, quality, and member experience objectives
• Help shape the long-term regional growth strategy in the New York market
The ideal background:
• 12 years of development leadership experience
• Experience delivering luxury residential, hospitality, private club, mixed-use, or lifestyle-oriented projects
• Strong understanding of placemaking, design quality, and experiential real estate
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects end-to-end
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial and operational judgment
