Overview
We’re looking for a seasoned Construction Project Executive to lead large-scale commercial projects in the San Antonio area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on overseeing complex builds, managing high-performing teams, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive oversight for multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Lead project teams including Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk management
- Collaborate with design teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and local building codes
- Drive strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency across projects
- Participate in business development, including proposals and client presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10 years of progressive construction experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven track record managing large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects ($20M )
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Deep understanding of construction methods, contracts, and project delivery systems
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling software, and project management tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Texas construction market
- Familiarity with LEED or sustainable building practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality
