What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory/Purchasing Manager position at MAC Rx?
The growing MAC Rx team is seeking a analytics oriented individual to join our team as Inventory/Purchasing Supervisor! This role performs a wide variety of technical, physical and analytical functions within our department including department management, inventory organization, and execution and analysis of purchasing supplies and medications. The successful candidate will be able to work well in teams and in a fast-paced environment with sound analytical understanding.
Shift will be Sunday - Thursday, 10:30am to 7pm
Responsibilities include:
· Daily execution of purchasing medication and supply orders based off of data and analytics
· Receiving of Shipments
· Assist with conducting monthly financial inventories on a monthly basis
· Maintaining and improving inventory floor lay out and organization
· Oversee cycle counts and keeping accurate on hand inventory data into Frameworks
· Manage the process of two by two returns, recalled/expired/damaged/returned medications, physical rotation and labeling of stock and oversite of medication rotation compliance
· QA price and quantities received by the Inventory Team
· Creates and disseminates Daily Tasks to teams
· Coordinate purchasing efforts with other departments as necessary
· Preparation of Prepack Drug Needs
· Completion of Project Needs from Management
· Supervision of both Inventory/Purchasing Department and Pre-Pack Department including daily/weekly/monthly workflows
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail required
- Experienced usage of Computer programs such as Microsoft Office, especially Excel required
- Ability to follow direction and prioritize tasks
- Problem solver
- Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as necessary
- Ability to stoop, kneel, and/or crouch occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Two years of pharmacy technician experience required, preferably in a long term care setting
- Pharmacy Technician license and certification is required

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
