MAC Rx is seeking an AM Pharmacy Technician to join our team!
AM Shift
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the medication fulfillment process for our Long Term Care pharmacy. The role for the Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician is to assist in pulling and filling medications for our residents. We ensure the highest quality standards of practice for our long term care facilities.
Primary Duties:
Assist in printing labels
- Assist in pulling medications
- Assist in filling medications, hand fill or Accuflex/E3 machine
- Assist in filling, logging and toting/closing controlled medications
- Assist the pharmacist with PV2 override (PVT technicians only)
- Responsible for resolving all missing/backorder labels
- Responsible for helping supervisor close out batch
- Insure all orders are done according to operational goal guidelines
- Prepare/tote/close orders to leave pharmacy for dispatch
- Other duties as assigned by Manager, Supervisor and/or Lead
Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent. Certification pharmacy technician required.
This is an entry level position. Illinois Pharmacy Technician License is required and can be obtained through the state of Illinois.

- Must be able to work rotating schedules, evenings and weekends
- Ability to operate pharmacy automation equipment, which do not require special training other than skills which may be acquired on the job
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) and includes competitive salary, access to a full suite of health and ancillary benefits, a matching 401(k) and paid time off.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
