Your opportunity to grow
We are looking for a full-time Purchaser / Inventory Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Research cost effective acquisition of materials and services to meet Company needs
Update material and hardware pricing
Identify and negotiate with suppliers and compare prices, specifications, terms, and delivery dates to determine optimum solutions
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers and manufacturing representatives.
Monitor in-house inventory – Order and update appropriately, oversee material transfers, procure and track specialty materials
Maintain material lists and control material costs for every project
Create and maintain purchase orders
Respond to internal and supplier inquires
Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders- Request and fulfill material needs for shop production
Requirements
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
3 Purchasing experience, ideally in a custom manufacturing environment
Strong computer and data management skills
