Large manufacturing company in Concord NC is looking for an Stamping Process Technician. Looking for someone with metal stamping background and someone who is mechanically inclined.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:

o Ability to troubleshoot electro/mechanical assemblies
o Ability to use a multimeter to check voltage, resistance and continuity
o Ability to effectively communicate technical issues with engineering and
maintenance departments
o Software: ASI System and NCR Database
o Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
o Able to work overtime when necessary
o Able to stand the majority of the work day.
o Able to perform repetitive job functions; hand mobility, bending, kneeling,
pushing, and pulling.
o Manual dexterity required for assembly and operating tools and
machines.
o Ability to safely operate moving equipment properly without risk to self,
others and equipment.
o Ability and applied knowledge of the material handler job description.
o Eye Protection
o Safety Shoes

- Troubleshoot automated, semi-automated and manual equipment. Use
malfunctions.
- Use a methodical approach to problem solving.
- Test electrical components and replace as needed.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
- Perform tooling changes as applicable in the department
- Perform material handler as needed
- Determine tooling problems and communicate with tool room to resovle issues.
- Lead set up techs in the department to ensure process efficiency
- Utilize 5S, continuous improvement and Lean tools daily to improve the

- Education: High school diploma or GED required. Prefer degree/certificate
- Experience: Progressive manufacturing experience
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
