Day Program Supervisor
Ivy Street School – MAB Community Services (Brookline, MA)
MAB Community Services is seeking a Day Program Supervisor to support daily operations at the Ivy Street School, a therapeutic education program serving neurodiverse adolescents ages 13–22.
This leadership role supports the Day Program Director in overseeing the education milieu, coordinating staffing coverage, and ensuring safe, consistent implementation of student programming and documentation. The Supervisor provides real-time operational support, staff coaching, and cross-department collaboration to meet student needs throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily day program operations and staffing coverage
Provide classroom, break, and emergency coverage as needed
Support and supervise Education Counselors and Senior Education Counselors
Ensure completion of daily documentation (COS, incident reports, attendance, NAP data)
Coordinate communication across education, residential, and clinical teams
Support student safety, behavior response, and shift transitions
Assist with onboarding, training, and staff feedback
Help manage student departures and transportation coordination
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred
2 years of experience in education or social services required
Supervisory experience preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Experience working with youth with behavioral or developmental needs preferred
Requirements
CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
