Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our leadership team , for the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate will work in conjunction with the Program Director to oversee program management and perform several administrative tasks in our Extended Day Program. This role involves budget management , overseeing licensing requirements, managing tuition payments and employee benefits ,including payroll.
Duties:
- Work together with the Program Director To:
-Manage program operations and ensure compliance with all EEC regulations
- Conduct employee onboarding and managment of all staff benefits and payroll
-Assist with hiring, supervision and training of program staff, substitue in classrooms as needed
- Manage the budgeting and financial oversight for the program
- Manage the enrollment process and oversight of the waitlist
- Maintain Quickbooks and Tuition Management in collaboration with the bookkeeper
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Educational Administration or Management or other related fields as outlined by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).
-At least 2 years experience in school age program management, preferably as a Director or Assistant Director of an EEC licensed program
- Excellent administrative abilities to handle day-to-day operations efficiently
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well on a team and to provide supervision and support to staff members
This is a 10 month position with reduced summer hours that offers a summer stipend. Hours are 12-6 daily.
