Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions, providing prompt and courteous support.
- Assist clients with policy inquiries, coverage options, claims processes, and billing questions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Enter and update client data accurately within our management systems using strong data entry and computer skills.
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up on policy renewals, client feedback, or additional service opportunities to enhance client satisfaction.
- Support sales efforts by identifying client needs, explaining product features, and promoting suitable insurance solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, transactions, and follow-up actions to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to foster trust and loyalty with clients from diverse backgrounds, including multilingual and bilingual populations.
Qualifications
- Must possess your Missouri State P&C insurance license and have experience working in the industry with commercial clients.
- Proven experience in customer support or client services is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office365 applications (Word, Excel) and general computer skills.
- Experience with data entry, typing accuracy, and analysis skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of customer service best practices, including phone etiquette and outbound calling techniques.
- Familiarity with sales principles and the ability to identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling insurance products.
