We are looking for an experienced, dependable Framing Crew Chief to lead our framing crew. If you have strong leadership skills, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and are committed to safety and efficiency, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a framing crew on residential and commercial construction projects.
- Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Coordinate wall layout, floor systems, roof framing, and daily crew activities.
- Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to company quality standards.
- Train and mentor crew members.
- Monitor material usage and maintain a clean, organized job site.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, and other trades.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a framing crew leader, foreman, or crew chief.
- Strong knowledge of wood framing, structural framing methods, and construction best practices.
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
