Role Description The Pump Truck Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Poughkeepsie, NY. This role is responsible for safely operating pump trucks to service septic systems, holding tanks, and related sewer infrastructure at residential and commercial locations. Day-to-day tasks include driving to job sites, setting up and operating pumping equipment, loading and unloading hoses and materials, and ensuring proper disposal of waste in accordance with regulations. The Pump Truck Driver will complete basic inspections of the vehicle and equipment, perform routine maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly. The role also involves interacting with customers in a professional manner, following job orders and safety procedures. Overtime and after-hours on-call schedule required
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with a tanker endorsement
