Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles with manual transmission to transport goods to various locations
- Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols
- Deliver orders accurately and on time by following designated routes and schedules
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing their needs
- Assist with warehouse organization, including stocking shelves, inventory management, and maintaining a clean workspace
- Load and secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure safety and compliance
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Experience working in a warehouse environment, including heavy lifting and moving items safely
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred)
- Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles and navigating route driving efficiently
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, moving goods, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to load & unload operations and vehicle operation
