Responsibilities
- Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional models, to recover and transport vehicles across different locations.
- Perform vehicle loading and unloading using proper cargo securement protocols to ensure safety during transit.
- Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, and automotive diagnostics to assess the condition of vehicles before towing.
- Assist with vehicle recovery towing operations, including accident scenes and breakdowns, following all safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including logs of vehicle pick-up and drop-off details.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally.
- Follow all safety procedures related to cargo securement, mechanical repairs, and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record and experience in commercial truck driving.
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair, minor mechanical vehicle repairs, and basic troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and vehicle mechanics for truck drivers.
- Strong understanding of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques.
- Experience operating flatbed tow trucks or similar heavy-duty tow trucks is preferred.
- Ability to handle conflict management situations professionally while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus for handling heavy or bulky items during loading/unloading.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
