At our modern, technology-driven automotive shop, we're looking for a Service Writer Manager to lead our front office and service team. This pivotal role is the heartbeat of our business — keeping the shop organized, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving the team to success.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and motivate the front office and service team to meet and exceed sales and service goals
- Manage daily workflow using digital systems to ensure technician efficiency and timely vehicle completion
- Oversee scheduling, dispatching, and internal communication to keep operations running smoothly
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences from drop-off through delivery
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and urgency
- Implement sales and service strategies to drive business growth
- Coach and mentor service advisors to improve performance and customer satisfaction
- Monitor KPIs and service metrics to ensure consistent execution
- Stay up to date on industry trends and customer service best practices
- Drive the shop to meet or Exceed All kpis
Who You Are:
- A confident, capable leader with excellent communication skills
- Honest, organized, and committed to operational excellence
- Experienced in independent auto repair 5 years preferred)
- Comfortable managing people, processes, and customer relationships
- Customer-service focused and solution-oriented
- Familiar with using workflow platforms, CRM tools, and digital inspections
- Skilled on the phone and in person — you're the voice and face of the shop
What We Offer:

Pay: $85,000 – $140,000 per year (based on experience and performance)

Minimum Requirements:
- 5 years of customer service experience (automotive preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Independent shop experience strongly preferred
- Solid computer and digital system proficiency
