Material Handler

M.H. Eby, Inc.- a manufacturer of aluminum trailers and truck bodies, is searching for a Parts Department Material Handler to join our team in Story City, IA. This individual will be responsible for storing and distributing materials and products within the customer service center. The role requires the efficient management of inventory and ensuring safe transport and organization of materials to support customer service.

• Full Time 7:30AM - 5:00PM schedule (Monday - Friday)
• $1000 new hire sign on bonus ($500 paid at 90 days, $500 paid at 180 days)

Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Organization, communication, and attention to detail.
• Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Inspecting materials prior to shipment - packaging/palletizing prior to pick up.
• Performing regular stock counts.
• Picking and preparing materials for orders according to specifications, including reading blueprints.
• Some outdoor work is required year round - traveling between buildings, loading/unloading trucks, etc.
• Compliance with company safety policies/procedures.
