Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in emergency medicine, excellent clinical judgement, and the ability to work independently in a rural, resource-limited setting. Prior rural health or critical access experience is preferred but not exclusionary for employment consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages
- Perform medical assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment
- Manage critical and trauma cases with support from local resources
- Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to deliver safe, efficient patient care
- Utilize telemedicine and air/ground transfer services as needed
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations
- Perform inpatient rounds on Acute and Observation patients

Qualifications:
- APP: NP/PA with Emergency or Acute Care experience (required)
- Active Texas license
- BLS, ACLS, ATLS required (PALS preferred)
- Prior rural health or critical access experience is a plus
