What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Lyneer Staffing Solutions?
Our client in the Chicopee, MA area is looking to hire a Warehouse Associate. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is a plus for this position. Responsibilities will include loading and unloading trailers, verifying route load(s), trailer reports, and maintaining the shipping yard.
The Day-to-Day:
- Count and check products for accuracy and quality, maintain accurate records, report overages and shortages, & participate in "Cycle Counts".
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jack.
- Troubleshoot issues with packing equipment, label machines, tapers, palletizers, etc.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Previous Warehouse experience is required
- Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50 lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand, and/or stoop for prolonged periods.
- Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
- Must be comfortable in a warm working environment.
Pay Rate/Shifts:
- $18.00 /hr
- Sunday to Friday (Tuesdays & Saturdays off)
- 2:00 PM to finish (anywhere from 11 pm to 1 am)
