Senior Electrical Engineer (Power Systems / PE)
What they're looking for:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Active PE license required
- 10 to 15 years of experience in power systems analysis and design
- Background supporting infrastructure, industrial, or large facility projects preferred
Core technical experience:
- Power system analysis using tools like ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or similar
- Medium voltage distribution systems including substations, switchgear, and standby generation
- Arc flash, short circuit, load flow, and coordination studies
- Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, NESC, and related standards
- Experience with distributed generation, renewable energy, or microgrid systems is a plus
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and review power system studies and technical deliverables
- Act as the go-to technical lead for complex electrical and power system issues
- Support design, troubleshooting, and system optimization efforts
- Serve as electrical lead or project manager across multiple projects
- Interface with internal teams and clients on technical matters
- Support proposals and business development for technical pursuits
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
Additional:
- Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to clients
- Detail-oriented with solid analytical and problem-solving ability
- Proficient with standard business tools (Excel, Word)
