A leading mechanical contractor in the Charleston market is seeking an experienced HVAC or Plumbing Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
This role is ideal for a construction professional with experience managing HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects who can lead project teams, maintain client relationships, and ensure successful project delivery on schedule and within budget.
- Manage multiple HVAC and/or plumbing construction projects simultaneously.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and manpower planning.
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documents.
- Lead project kickoff meetings and ongoing progress meetings.
- Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and material procurement.
- Support Superintendents and field personnel to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and manpower forecasts.
- Ensure projects comply with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Manage project financials, including forecasting, billings, and profitability.
- Participate in project closeout and turnover processes.
- 5 years of Project Management experience within mechanical construction.
- Experience managing commercial or industrial HVAC, plumbing, or piping projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction practices, and project delivery methods.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience managing project budgets and schedules.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Local Charleston market experience is a plus.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
