Job Title: Architect II
We are seeking a creative, proactive, and technically strong Architect with 6-8 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about sustainability and committed to environmentally and socially responsible design. This role calls for an individual with strong design sensibilities, a positive attitude, and a desire to contribute meaningfully to mission-driven work.
You will play a key role in the design process, taking ownership of projects from concept through completion.
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and consultants including MEP, structural, and civil
- Manage projects from initial programming through final completion
Technical Design & Documentation
- Oversee development of construction documents and technical specifications
- Integrate building systems into cohesive design solutions
Code & Quality Control
- Conduct zoning, building code, and accessibility analysis
- Perform technical reviews to ensure quality and alignment with design intent
Sustainability & Performance Integration
- Incorporate advanced sustainable design strategies into projects and detailing
Construction Administration
- Perform site visits and review submittals, RFIs, and substitutions
- Resolve field issues and support construction progress
Mentorship
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff and emerging professionals

Education
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited program
Experience
- 6-8 years of professional architectural experience
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with Lumion, Sefaira, or SketchUp is a plus
Sustainability Focus
- Interest in building science and high-performance design
- Familiarity with Passive House, LEED, WELL, or similar frameworks
Licensure
- Architectural licensure preferred

- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal and graphic communication abilities
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
