Electrical Engineering Leader - Mission Critical / Data Center Infrastructure

Compensation: $160,000-$220,000 Base Salary Bonus Comprehensive Benefits

A leading provider of mission-critical infrastructure solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineering Leader to support the design, construction, and delivery of large-scale data center and critical infrastructure projects. This individual will provide technical leadership, mentor engineering teams, and drive the successful execution of complex electrical systems from concept through construction and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering efforts on mission-critical and data center projects.
• Provide technical oversight, mentorship, and guidance to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Review and validate electrical designs, ensuring quality, constructability, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Support technical risk management, project execution, and client-facing initiatives.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in construction-phase activities, including RFIs, submittals, field coordination, and commissioning support.
• Contribute to process improvements and the development of junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7 years of electrical engineering experience with construction-related project involvement.
• Experience leading engineering teams, technical discussions, and complex project deliverables.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, emergency power systems, electrical infrastructure, and mission-critical environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience

• Data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial, utility, federal, or large infrastructure projects.
• Design-build project delivery.
• EIT/FE certification.
• Cost estimating, budgeting, and project financial exposure.
• LEED, DBIA, NICET, or similar industry certifications.
