Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute geotechnical projects from proposal stage through final deliverables.
- Plan and oversee subsurface investigation programs, including drilling and field testing activities.
- Analyze field and laboratory data to develop geotechnical design recommendations.
- Prepare and review reports related to foundations, pavements, retaining structures, earthwork, and site development.
- Provide engineering recommendations for shallow and deep foundations, settlement analyses, slope stability, and ground improvement solutions.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Support construction services and provide technical consultation during project execution.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
- Assist with proposal development and client relationship management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical investigations, engineering analyses, and foundation design.
- Experience preparing technical reports and interacting directly with clients.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Knowledge of Texas soils and regional geotechnical challenges is preferred.
