Position Summary
As an Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design and layout of electrical systems for a variety of projects. Your work will include creating detailed models, preparing construction documents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and model electrical systems in 3D, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, access control, and security systems.
- Prepare detailed construction documents such as One-Line Diagrams and wiring diagrams.
- Utilize photometric software to design general and emergency lighting systems.
- Produce high-quality drawings using AutoDesk Revit.
- Conduct site visits for measurements and documentation.
- Assist in preparing reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Provide technical support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) preferred.
- 5 years of experience in electrical design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or other 3D modeling software.
- Strong understanding of electrical system design principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently or collaboratively.
