The firm is seeking a Project Manager with roadway MS4 experience to support transportation infrastructure projects. This role is open in multiple offices across the Southeast and is well suited for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience, primarily focused on roadway MS4 projects
- Experience with state DOT roadway projects preferred
- Proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads and Hydraflow Hydrographs
- Working knowledge of MicroStation and plan production preferred
- Familiarity with stormwater modeling tools such as StormCAD, CivilStorm, and HY‑8 is a plus
- Project management experience preferred
- Strong understanding of DOT requirements, particularly drainage, stormwater, and erosion control
- General working knowledge of:
- Surveying
- Geometric roadway design
- Hydraulics and hydrology
- Stormwater management
- Grading and construction management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Lead and support projects focused on roadway MS4 compliance, stormwater design, and erosion control
- Develop drainage calculations, stormwater reports, and technical documentation in accordance with DOT standards
- Prepare Erosion, Sedimentation, and Pollution Control Plans for roadway projects
- Produce drainage layouts, profiles, and drainage area maps for integration into roadway plans
- Ensure compliance with MS4 permit requirements and applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct site visits for inspection and evaluation of drainage and stormwater systems
- Participate in client meetings and coordinate with DOT staff as required
- Manage assigned tasks or small projects with support from senior leadership
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff as appropriate
- Perform additional duties as needed to support project delivery
