To better serve the global auto industry EV trend in United States, we are now hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Extra Low Voltage (ELV), for a new mega-site manufacturing project in Michigan. We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in ELV systems to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced ELV solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems within our projects. Also, this role will require excellent management skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ELV systems, including but not limited to fire alarm systems, security systems, access control, and communication networks.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assessments for ELV projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering teams to integrate ELV solutions into overall project designs.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for ELV systems.
• Conduct site surveys to assess existing infrastructure and propose ELV system upgrades or improvements.
• Provide technical support during project execution, troubleshooting and resolving ELV system issues.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in ELV technologies to recommend and implement best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing ELV systems.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to ELV systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

1. Regular, predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
2. Ability to move throughout offices, manufacturing facilities, and construction areas, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders.
3. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting as required.
4. Ability to work in varied environments, including offices, industrial, and construction settings.
5. Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
