Electrical Engineer III

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in building power systems design for a variety of project types. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative environments, communicates effectively, and is capable of working independently when needed.

• Design building power systems for healthcare, higher education, high‑rise residential, hotel, office, and other commercial or institutional facilities
• Develop construction documents, calculations, and specifications
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and external stakeholders
• Ensure designs meet code compliance requirements and industry standards
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise
• Support field investigations, site visits, and construction administration tasks
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and quality-control processes
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3 years of experience in building power systems design across various project types
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Excellent technical, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of code compliance requirements and industry standards
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a collaborative team environment
  
  

• Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred
  • EIT candidates with the ability to obtain a PE will also be considered
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed
• Experience with SKM PowerTools for power system studies (preferred)
• Knowledge of AGi32 lighting photometric software (preferred)
