Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in building power systems design for a variety of project types. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative environments, communicates effectively, and is capable of working independently when needed.
- Design building power systems for healthcare, higher education, high‑rise residential, hotel, office, and other commercial or institutional facilities
- Develop construction documents, calculations, and specifications
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and external stakeholders
- Ensure designs meet code compliance requirements and industry standards
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise
- Support field investigations, site visits, and construction administration tasks
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and quality-control processes
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years of experience in building power systems design across various project types
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Excellent technical, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of code compliance requirements and industry standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred
- EIT candidates with the ability to obtain a PE will also be considered
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- Experience with SKM PowerTools for power system studies (preferred)
- Knowledge of AGi32 lighting photometric software (preferred)
