Electrical / Controls Engineer
Overview
A growing engineering team focused on industrial electrical and controls systems is hiring engineers to support projects across multiple industries. This is an in-person role based in Boise, Idaho, with a strong emphasis on hands-on system design, integration, and real-world problem solving.
What You'll Do
- Support design of industrial electrical and control systems
- Develop and program PLC and HMI solutions using platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, and Ignition
- Create and maintain electrical and controls drawings using AutoCAD
- Assist with system integration, commissioning, and plant startup activities
- Work across multiple projects and industries, supporting both design and field execution
What You Bring
- BS in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Experience or interest in industrial electrical and control systems
- Familiarity with PLC programming, HMI development, and automation platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, Ignition, or similar
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Strong communication and technical writing skills
- Comfortable working in a smaller, team-oriented environment
