What You'll Do
Lead building enclosure consulting and commissioning projects for both new construction and existing buildings.
Oversee project delivery from concept through completion, ensuring technical accuracy and client satisfaction.
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and field investigations; develop repair strategies for enclosure issues.
Prepare proposals, reports, and design reviews with clear, professional documentation.
Mentor team members, assist with hiring, and support training in commissioning processes.
Build client relationships and contribute to business development locally and nationally.
Represent the firm through professional organizations, conferences, and technical committees.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Architectural Engineering plus 10 years in building enclosure consulting
OR 14 years of relevant experience without a degree.
Professional registration (RA or SE) or ability to obtain within one year.
Strong technical knowledge of enclosure systems and construction practices.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams effectively.
Comfortable performing both office and field work (including ladders, lifts, scaffolds).
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Preferred Skills
Building enclosure commissioning expertise.
Familiarity with thermal/hygrothermal modeling tools (THERM, WUFI, EnergyPlus).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with ASTM field testing and façade condition assessments.
Safety training or scaffold certification.
