A well-established, multidisciplinary land development consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager with 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering to join its growing team. This position is available in any of the firm's New England offices, including locations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and has the option to be fully remote for a New England resident.


Role Overview

The Senior Project Manager will oversee development projects from concept through completion, with a strong emphasis on client relationship management, technical leadership, and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a diverse portfolio of projects and ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead civil engineering projects from initial planning through final design and permitting.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Present projects to municipal boards and regulatory agencies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders including developers, architects, and contractors.


Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of Massachusetts land use entitlement processes and local/state regulations.
  • Experience with private development projects, including site due diligence, zoning analysis, and permitting.
  • Familiarity with municipal projects is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and levels.
  • Proficiency in technical computations, plan review, and regulatory interpretation.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and attend public hearings and meetings as needed.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and civil design software such as AutoCAD and HydroCAD.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering and project management.

Salary : $150,000 - $160,000
