About the Role
The Food Services Manager oversees daily restaurant operations with a focus on team development, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction. This leadership role plays a key part in maintaining the company’s brand image by ensuring outstanding service, efficient operations, and adherence to food and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding guest service across all operations; address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Lead and participate in departmental and company-wide food and beverage meetings to drive alignment and performance.
- Monitor revenue streams and control departmental expenses, including labor, food, and operational costs.
- Oversee financial processes such as reporting, payroll, and budget management.
- Partner with culinary and marketing teams on menu development, applying menu engineering and promotional strategies to boost profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain a professional and inviting restaurant environment, ensuring cleanliness, proper staff appearance, and strong brand representation.
- Manage inventory and supply chain operations, including ordering, receiving, and tracking food and beverage products to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and develop team members; provide coaching, feedback, and performance management as needed.
- Lead training programs focused on company standards, operational procedures, and food safety guidelines.
- Enforce cash control procedures and safeguard company assets.
- Review financial reports regularly and implement strategies to drive operational improvements and profitability.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by upper management.
