Minimum Position Qualifications:

- Education - Associate's degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience - Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in electrical construction or a related trade; demonstrated knowledge and practical experience with DC/AC circuits, construction wiring (residential, commercial, or industrial); National Electrical Code (NEC), Electric motors and controls, power systems and transformers; teaching or training experience in an educational or industrial setting is preferred.

This position involves classroom instruction, lab-based training, curriculum development, student advising, and participation in college-wide initiatives; Teach courses in DC and AC Fundamentals, Residential and Commercial Wiring, National Electrical Code (NEC), Electric Motors, Power Systems, and Transformers; Design and deliver engaging lectures, hands-on labs, and instructional materials aligned with program outcomes and industry standards; Develop and update curriculum to reflect current technology, safety practices, and code requirements; Maintain safe and functional lab environments with modern instructional equipment and tools; Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical exams, and project-based learning; Provide academic advising and career guidance to students; Collaborate with department faculty and industry advisory boards to ensure program relevance and quality; Participate in program review, accreditation activities, and continuous improvement efforts; Attend faculty meetings, professional development, and community outreach events.
