What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Cook position at Luxor Healthcare?
Rancho Rehab and Healthcare is seeking Dietary Cooks to join our team. Cooks are an important part of the Dietary team and are responsible for the preparation of all meals served to residents and staff. Cooks report to the Director of Dietary Services.
Cook Duties include but are not limited to:
Full-time day shift
Full-time mid shift
Weekend 11a - 7p
Cook Qualifications:
Cook Duties include but are not limited to:
- Read menu and plan cooking schedule to ensure timely service
- Prepare food according to standardized recipes
- Wash, peel, cut, and trim vegetables, fruits, or meat
- Bake, roast, stew, or steam cook meats and vegetables
Full-time day shift
Full-time mid shift
Weekend 11a - 7p
Cook Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral directions
- Work history including institutional or commercial cooking experience
- Dependable with excellent attendance and timeliness record
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
