Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end QA activities across multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploration across web, desktop, mobile, and API layers.
- Conduct comprehensive API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI (REST/SOAP services).
- Execute and manage mobile application testing on iOS and Android platforms, including device farms.
- Define, track, and report QA metrics, present status to stakeholders and leadership regularly.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and conduct peer reviews of test cases and automation scripts.
- Partner with product owners, developers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and enforce QA best practices across teams.
- Manage defect lifecycle end-to-end using JIRA, Azure, or equivalent tools.
Skills
Must have
- Mobile App Testing, API Testing, JIRA, SQL, Agile / Scrum, SDLC & STLC
- Nice to have: UFT, Tosca, Epic EMR and Selenium
- Location: Resource must be in Houston, Texas
- Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or IT related field.
- 8 years of hands-on QA experience
- Proven multi-project management skills
- ISTQB certification preferred
- Epic certification is a strong plus
- Experience in healthcare IT domain preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Skilled at prioritizing in high-pressure, multi-deadline environments
