Responsibilities
- Supervise warehouse distribution activities, ensuring timely and accurate shipping and receiving of goods
- Lead and manage warehouse team members, fostering a positive team environment and promoting safety compliance
- Oversee inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels and facilitate efficient order fulfillment
- Operate and coordinate the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners for safe movement of goods
- Implement process improvements to streamline warehouse operations, reduce waste, and enhance productivity
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and ensure all safety protocols are followed during warehouse activities
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize distribution center operations and support overall supply chain efficiency
- Audit’s all incoming and outgoing shipments
Skills
- Extensive experience in warehouse management, distribution center operations, and inventory control systems
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with staff at all levels
- Knowledge of materials handling equipment operation including forklifts, heavy lifting techniques, and OSHAs safety standards
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as lean management to enhance workflow efficiency
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures, logistics coordination, and distribution practices
- Excellent managerial communication skills to facilitate clear instructions, performance feedback, and safety training
Education
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Requirements
- Associate degree in:

- Operations Management
Preferred Certifications
- OSHA Safety Training
- Forklift Certification
- APICS/ASCM Supply Chain Certifications

Experience Requirements
Minimum Experience
- 3-5 years of warehouse or distribution center experience
Supervisory Experience
- 1-3 years of experience leading teams, coordinating work assignments, and managing employee performance
Preferred Experience
- Inventory control and cycle counting
- Shipping and receiving operations
- ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Workforce scheduling and labor planning
- Safety compliance and accident investigation
- Continuous improvement initiatives
