What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Auditor Automotive Lighting - Paid Weekly 3rd Shift position at Luxit Group Company?
Responsibility
- Must have following requirements
- Monitor operators performance to ensure they are following standard operating procedures;
- Assist Quality Coordinators in determining root cause of customer concerns;
- Confirm quality of part through the use of appropriate gages, tools and standards;
- Quarantine suspect parts and inform Quality Coordinator of reason on hold;
- Document all concerns, issues, problems of each job running in the communication book;
- Assist the entire team in continuous improvement endeavors.
- Identify and mitigate potential safety concerns / accident prevention;
- Bring thoughts and ideas to quality meetings to assist in process improvement, scrap reduction, etc…
- Participate in waste walks and other programs designed to reduce COPQ;
- Support production in ensuring any product that needs to be certified is done so before the arrival of the truck;
- Review processes ensuring compliance to established standards;
- Assist in determining the root cause of variances, (operator, machine, material, and/or process);
- Always look for ways to improve;
Requirments
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to life 50 pounds
Prior work in a Tier 1 or 2 automotive supplier
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Requires a high school diploma
2 years of experience in plastic injection molding
Strong problem solving skills
Gage reading/inspection
Microsoft office experience
Work independently
Good Communication skills
