Job Overview
We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our team for a new and upcoming business set up for success. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality meals that delight our guests and uphold our standards of excellence. Your expertise in food preparation, menu planning, and food safety will ensure a memorable dining experience. The food you would be expected to prepare blends the simplicity of bar bite classics with features inclusive to semi - upscale features. Dish presentation is a must. Recent experience in a similar environment is strongly preferred.
Duties
- Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with sanitation of dishware including pots and pans
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
- Manage food preparation stations efficiently during service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Proven culinary experience in restaurant or fine dining environments
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food presentation
- Skilled in using kitchen tools and knife skills for efficient food prep
- Background in the food industry with a focus on cooking, food service, or catering preferred
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
