Lutron Electronics Co., Inc has an immediate opening at our facility in Ashland, VA for a Maintenance Technician on our 2nd shift. In this role you will help maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all the testing and manufacturing equipment used to produce our high-quality products. You will also have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and test equipment being qualified by engineering to support our new product manufacturing.

In this role you will help maintain, repair, and troubleshoot all the testing and manufacturing equipment used to produce our high-quality products. Responsibilities
- Provide unscheduled troubleshooting and repair of equipment to the manufacturing/engineering lines, responding to breakdowns and provide root cause and corrective actions.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on manufacturing and test equipment to maintain a safe and reliable environment.
- Implement equipment improvement projects related to equipment safety and product quality and delivery.
- Interact within the Equipment Support Team and provide status updates and aid other group members to maintain a minimal to zero work order back log.
- Maintain the equipment calibration process to comply with Lutron procedures
- Review and provide feedback to Engineering groups about new equipment being introduced into the facility
- Associates degree in Electronics, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical Technology or equivalent Degree is preferred, OR 3 years' work experience as a Maintenance Technician
- If you have a degree, a minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 is required
- Ability to work from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
- Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics, drawings, part specifications, and standard operating procedures
- Aptitude in troubleshooting, rebuilding, and maintaining various manufacturing equipment
- Proven organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proven computer skills
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic communications in English
- Proven ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
